Hi all. My car has the hammock type seats, suspended on bent wires from tubular frames, which you can see in lots of pics of the earlier R4's
The back seat does not fold, and the front is another bench seat except that the front one is on runner for leg adjustability.
However the rubber web underneath that tensions the hammock has perished, and needs to be replaced or another arrangement found. I have a non standard solution that uses a lounger seat fabric and suspension, however that is not standard.
So, has anyone got any idea about how I could get hold of a new original arrangement, either original or repaired or whatever. ? I have asked before but that was some years ago, before covid. I am asking again to see if any new information has surfaced.
The car is now with Paul Cunningham for a mechanical refettle, so getting the seats done has moved up the agenda.Thanks
