The first decent snow of the season is making excursions a bit more of an effort but nothing that Bertie cannot handle. Is this a sign of things to come? How bad can the weather get before it's best to leave the car at home?

Mine is under a custom made cover and it is snowing as we speak.
Lincolnshire

The weather can do what it likes - but only leave the 4 in when the road salt comes out. There is an ugly rumour that R4s are allergic to it.

We've had a bit of snow here in sunny Burgundy and we've put our Megane away in the garage. If the going gets tough our R4 van gets going...

I remember driving home in 1986,in a r4 f6, when it had snowed really deep, i lived at the top of a hill then, people just stared gob smacked as i drove past, it was flying up over the bonnet, great fun, oh i do miss an r4

Still snowing

well, it's been snowing on and off all day and being on top of a hill where we are means it's getting quite deep now, one road out the village keeps getting blocked ( with cars they keep getting stuck ) and the other gets drifts across it but apparently it should be getting better towards the weekend.

More Here Too!

Snow's still a-fallin'! Met Office keeps changing its mind. But hey, I like it and it brightens up the granite!

Photo from the weekend, yes all of mine tend to be at night. Snow on the road was so bad big rear-wheeled BMW's kept getting stuck on their way up the hill, gave some of them a hand but many an abandoned car.

Still not had a problem with Bertie The Miracle Whip. She does look cracking when going sideways ;) ...

..The West coast is the Best coast Team..

..But I don't mean Kilkenny!!

What is this under its Snowy Duvet Reida - Not a bloody Nouveau Citroenistas' pride and joy peut etre?

Top Gear(y) Michael might know but I expect he is changing a cam belt on a 1936 Renault Rosalie with his eyes closed and for fun at this very moment?

Now Doctor Pepper..you recently said you have changed so many cam belts you could do it with one eye closed..well Michael did mine with both his eyes closed, his left arm tied behind his back, wearing his overalls the wrong way around, with 6 plates spinning on sticks the whole time, AND and this is a big AND..he was 600 miles away in Burwell Cambs at the time of the cam belt change..now thats what I call clever...

I need my fan belt changing. I think it's this cold weather that has claimed it!

No let up on the snow front as of yet either! Cold cold cold in the North East of Scotland last night!
