Tailgate seal

Hi all,
I've just bought a new upper tailgate seal from der francoze, could someone please send me a pic of which way round it attaches to the tailgate ,

I cant offer an answer but I am interested in what you're using to stick it on with? my boot seal is hanging on with tape atm.

Hi

My glue of choice for door/tailgate seals is Evostik. It does the job and is a forgiving glue. If you go wrong, simply pull off the seal gently and you can rub the dry glue off the seal and paintwork without damage and start again. Apply masking tape to secure, shut the tailgate and leave overnight to dry completely.

This isn't the correct profile shape for the tailgate seal, so there is no definitive answer to your question. At least try to install it in such a way that it matches as closely as possible the profile of the ends of the lower seal part.
