Today I've been waxoyling Judiths Twingo ready for the winter, but thought I'd look at the results. after massively warming the workshop and warming the waxoyl thoroughly I ended up being very disapointed. It doesn't seem to creep very well at all, just tending to stick where it lands and not really running anywhere. I then tried thinning it down with white spirits and that made quite a difference but it still doesn't creep as well as I'd really like!
Malcolm it looks like you were right, its going to be hot oil from now on for me in the box sections and inner panels at least.
Its always the bottoms part of the joins which need the help getting as much oil into the seams as possible.
