I've been to Nottingham and Newport South Wales today. The worst conditions I met though were within a mile of my house!

Me thinks I'll be whipping the 165/70 r13 tyres off and putting some 135 tyres back on BB, it makes it so much nicer to drive in snowy weather! I reckon the best cars to drive in this weather are small skinny tyred Renault 4's ;)

I went upto where I have my base and I found 4 cars sticking out of the hedge, I really can't understand why people use the road, its an extremely dangerous little road but its totally avoidable for most people as there are two other ways to go which are safer bigger roads and don't take any longer to get around. The only reason I go up there is because my workshop is along there.

One of them was my neighbour who has put his SAAB 9-5 backwards through the hedge and taken the rear windscreen out. Tomorrow he his mostly going to be using BB to get around!

We had to go about 40 km yesterday to turn someone's heating on! The first 6 km and the last 3 of them were extremely difficult - no grit or salt on the roads and some of them not ploughed either, but the rest was OK as its on a road kept open when the A84 is closed (as it was yesterday).
The chickens did the sensible thing - stayed in their house all day. :)
