Broken down again!!!...I need help

Hopefully it is sorted. To fill in some gaps there are 2 filters in the fuel system. One in the pick up in the tank, and the other in the inlet to the carburettor. If you wanted to unblock the carb one the fuel inlet pipe unscrews and there is gauze behind. The one in the tank can be unblocked temporarily by removing the inlet pipe from the fuel pump and blowing through it.

No idea what was wrong with your car. Only the possibilities suggested already.

Well I have just returned from Corsica!!

It took 40 minutes to get to the port in solid traffic nose to tail and she held up.

Then some unexpected hill climbing to the campsite.

Then survived 2 ******* French drivers hitting my car !!! one in the Q to get on the ferry and one in the Q to get off!!!!

But we made it back on one piece.

I dont know when or how she did it but she did and she's running like a bag of nails.

Symptoms:

Blowing a bit asd if there is a hole in the exhaust (there isnt)
A bit throaty
Lack of power going uphills
just not as smootha s before.


I'm going to retard the dizzy head a litte to see if thaqt helps.

I wonder if its because I have and F6 Dizzy as opposed to the car version that is making the difference (AS suggested before by DavidN)

Whatever it is Im setting of Thenay tomorrow.

Get two while you're about it. You have to carry a spare, it's a law in France, although I've no idea how some people with modern cars manage. its physically impossible

Once got pull over by police officer on motorbike to give me ticket for one headlight lamp not working. Or i could change bulb in front of him.

Nicely chose this other choice.

Got spear bulb from trunk, opened bonnet and nicely asked him to help me to change bulb.

Then he realized that it is mission impossible to change bulb without going to dealer workshop. There is no space for pull through your arm. Maybe some tiny childish arm could do it but mine..... not a chance

He let me free!

I had smile on my face whole day

Car was Renault scenic 2 PH2.

Right-hand bulb i can hardly change if i remove bottle neck for window washing fluid.
But for left-hand one i need to move battery
