Hello from USA

This past week decided to make the floor carpets for the R4, use the rubber matts as templates that come with the R4 to cut out the carpets

The material looks really nice but I could not find a way to sew it with a regular sewing machine

I am cutting off all carpets and take it to someone with a bigger sewing machine

We went from 0 locally to 3 LOL

There is one just got sold to a person in DC , he has one of the biggest collection of antiques car and also got one. He actually arrived on a Limo and drove it home LOL

I will keep one garaged and use the GTL as my dayly drive.

Let me know when that happens I live 30m from DC area , maybe you can bringing me some small stuff for the 4L like oil filters, brake pads. mostly service stuff

The R4 GTL has been used almost everyday. summer is getting really hot but so far no heating problems

She is running perfect and I had a chance to see what she got coming back from a trip, sorry for the Music but only CD I had in the car LOL

Also had a chance to meet up with fellows from Renault of America in PA, one of the guys from Canada had a Renault 4L that got from the police in Paris
his 4L was 5* with a bottom engine of a Lecar 1.4L run really well , looks like its almost a bolt on application and little modification is need it to run the le car engine on the R4L, funny thing about it, easy to bolt on AC unit it on the Lecar engine, due to fact was option for US renault 5 Le car

Can you imagine a 4L with AC and 1.4L , sounds like a great project for the futur. his had a short gear box from the 900cc but with longer gear box from the 1.1L I think will be a better set up.
