Sorry the jack slipping was the first thing I could see happening
Early R4 have tubes and easy to get off using foot pressure not much harder than bicycle tyre
Forget all about this method with rusty tubeless rims
It will work on fairly new tyres and rims as I've changed them myself using an impact bead breaker

It's a pain doing that with a jack.
I used the hydraulic press we have and still broke a sweat.

I have had one of these for 30 years now still use it ocassionaly if I am feelng energetic

I promised myself it would be the last tyre that I remove. I've done 4 or 5 over the past few years, but this one was the worst
