Summer vacations on 4L. 1600kms, rolled without any problem and with towing a trailer

The carb heatshield helped a lot the hot start, the next move is change the fuelfilter location

I love cars but 4L exceeds all expectations.

I notice a lot of oil on the garage floor. A huge oil leak from the fuel pump gasket, I changed it, fuel pump include on last April(6k Kms later).








The baquelite spacer(aftermarket) came out in pieces
I put again the original in steel.



I left this night the sealant cure..and tomorrow I will test it

Usual oil and filters change..this time I put an Faher engine additive, I have good feedback on it. Check the ignition trimming, 6degrees and 60ºdweel angle(not the best I know). I changed the distributor cap, the old have bracket support broken.

Annual inspection is near, before I need change the AA bushes

The seats and trim are from the savane model like mine although I have different seats as a previous owner changed them

I already solved the trim fault.. I bought this set. Wating for B€tter time to change

I've got a set of these on mine as well, make sure you get the right wheel bolts for the wheels

Well, the R4, R5 (Alpine) wheel bolts on the hub are all the same but the Alpine rim wheel nuts are different in shape then the original R4 wheel nuts.

On the left the R4 wheel nut on the right the Alpine rim wheel nut

Seems like a lot of the Quads have wheelnuts suitable for R4 with aluminum rims.
