The bumpers are kind of a funny colour and it's hard to discern what the colour is like exactly. I had my local paintshop modify a white primer; they mixed in a little black (and maybe something else too but I can't remember) and it became a really good colour. So maybe go to the paintshop with perhaps the old bumper or a picture and have them mix a can.

I had them make a mix based on a primer because primers are nice and non-shiny, which the GTL-bumper needs. There should be no shine.

A friend suggested stone grey, RAL 7030

It worked well with my front bumper, is the same color of the rear one, bought already painted.

And I preferred a shiny finish, but it is matter of tastes.

I'm sorry if it seemed like I argued about taste, I just thought GTL bumpers were mat grey originally but correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, I like mat better.

The GTL plastic trims are plastic so they might not have an actual paint code.

I tried 2 different RAL colors for mine, the RAL 7035 and 7038 and I'm sorry to notice that even the darkest one (7038) is too lighter than the real color



I also noticed that the RAL colors are always lighter in reality than they seem to be on pictures or the web...

It's true that the color is the grey 677 but it's very difficult to know what it looks like in reality because the majority of the bumpers we can see are "used" and seem to be lighter than the real color...

Thanks for the photo of the counterplate.This was the best shot ever received. Last september i had a problem with that counterplate-could not find it in the garage and had to fabricate new one with assumed details.It worked out but now i know what it should have been.
