Mmm, very nice Jon, and the grey wheels etc compliment the body colour very well. I'm wondering though if the front end looks a bit low. Just a thought

It is low... the shock absorbers have very little travel. The height was adjusted without the engine... it will be corrected

Marigold was like that for a long time, but you really felt the bumps, very harsh, but after raising the front by just one spline, what a difference. The trouble is now the weight has shifted a bit to the back, so the rear end feels a bit wayward, if you know what I mean. It could do with raising a small amount too I'm thinking. I can now hear renault4mad (Andrew) groaning. He's always giving me a hard time.

After a year the car is on the road again. It passed our equivalent to the MOT test and I got the license plates yesterday.

@petak you are right, R4 was and still is hard working horse. Last weekend I drove 800 kg of scrap metal to the scrap yard. Took me two drives.
